There is scientific proof that mental and physical health is inextricably linked to diet and physical activity. The technology of the EIS System creates awareness of consequential lifestyle choices in a uniquely effective way. The Workforce Welfare programme maximises the opportunities for recognising stress, motivating change and providing practical solutions.

All information gathered during the programme is shared between practitioners. ‘Causes and consequences’ are then identified and a simple, personalised lifestyle plan is generated, targeted at achieving optimum health.

Our practitioners are experienced in designing plans that can be integrated smoothly into the workplace environment. Any potential difficulties can be discussed and worked through to optimise the success of the programme.

Diet is a major contributory factor in maintaining good health. Plans will be devised to meet the very specific needs of the individual employee and will take into consideration present eating habits and personal likes and dislikes. Small but significant changes in types of food, food preparation and healthier alternatives will mark the beginning of a healthier happier life both at work and at home. The dietician will share his/her recommendations with the physical health assessor.

Personal nutrition consultant

Using the information generated by the EIS Scan and the employee’s own food diary, the nutritionist will:

  • identify the type of stress
  • assess all other health risks
  • assess present eating habits

On this basis, they will

  • recommend a 6 week eating plan to redress imbalances
  • put together a ‘follow up’ healthy eating plan based on the individual’s specific needs.

Practical fitness advice.

Using information from the scan and the nutrition report, the assessor will:

  • ascertain general fitness level
  • identify postural imbalances
  • identify muscular weakness
  • assess bone density levels
  • quantify stress levels

From this data, the assessor will:

  • propose a set of simple exercises designed to support and increase physical and mental well being according to the employee’s conditions and circumstances (within the constraints of the working environment).
  • advise on breathing exercises for simple but effective stress management.
